Batucada is a traditional-and-electronic music project made up of two natives of Macedo who grew up together. They have been passionate since childhood about the sound of the bagpipes and traditional percussion. With maturity and creative drive, their work has become a sonic journey between the Transmontane roots and an urban sound, influenced by electronic music and hip-hop.

They have accompanied the Caretos de Podence on international tours and have carried out the collection and preservation of repertoire, while also stamping their own mark on the musical aesthetic they present.

For what will be their first record, still without a scheduled release date, they have been performing and modifying their concert so that the live performance influences the album, and not the other way around.
